ABOUT
Raplapla is much more than just a plush toy company. In 2005, Erica Perrot founded an enchanted world where creativity and sustainability come together to offer children and their parents unique playmates.
Erica is committed to bringing joy and comfort to children while inspiring parents to consume more mindfully. Their plush toys are made with care in a Montreal workshop, thus marking their commitment to local manufacturing long before "zero waste" came into fashion.
The Raplapla boutique opened its doors in 2009 in Montreal's Mile-End. The brand has crafted an engaging world centred on Mr. Tsé-Tsé, offering a playful experience through character letters and the option for their cuddly toys to receive care at the Plushie Hospital.
For Erica, adopting a Raplapla goes beyond simply acquiring a toy. It's about making a conscious choice to support a company founded and managed by local women. It also means resisting plastic, disposables, and impulse purchases in favour of objects meticulously made in a workshop located in Quebec. Even in the event of wear and tear or damage, these plushies are guaranteed to continue to bring joy because of how their scars and the marks of time make them all the more beautiful. Raplapla proposes a fair, sustainable and authentic approach with precious companions for life.

Raplapla and Les Produits du Québec
"For us, buying locally is a way of life. We believe that consumers have immense power, and we are aware of being against the current of the global consumer movement. We are proud to make objects here. It's a choice that comes from the heart."
- Erica Perrot, President
The company has been a Les Produits du Québec program member since September 2022, and some of its products have obtained the certification mark Product of Québec.
