Initially, it was a family business dedicated to relieving daily ailments through the strength of plants. The company is also distinguished by its desire to promote the planet's well-being. It has already taken an eco-responsible approach by reducing secondary packaging and using more sustainable materials in its manufacturing processes. This environmental approach came to life in 2020 with the launch of new bottles made from 100% recycled materials.
Laboratoire Suisse is very proud of its Quebec roots and is actively involved in the local economy by favouring local manufacturing. Several of their flagship products, such as Swical Energy ampoules and probiotics, are manufactured locally and packaged in the company's facilities located in Boucherville.

As part of its eco-responsible approach, the company collaborated in 2022 and 2023 with Mission 1000 Tonnes. This non-profit organization aims to protect marine and aquatic ecosystems through the collection of waste near waterways worldwide and promotes waste reduction.
For each ECO-friendly product sold identified, Laboratoire Suisse has given $0.50 to Mission 1000 tonnes, for a total amount of $12,000

The company has been a Les Produits du Québec program member since October 2022, and some of its products have obtained the Manufactured in Québec certification mark.
Products that have been certified include probiotics, Swical ampoules, and products for digestion, joint health and sleep.
