ABOUT

La fée rêve, founded in 2023 by Ève Agnoly, specializes in gourmet candles. Ève began crafting candles at the end of 2022, and her innovative creations have been evolving ever since. In July 2023, she launched candles that look like baked good, such as cakes and cupcakes and mimic their scents, right down to the wick.

The inspiration for La fée rêve began with Ève's love for baking, a relaxing hobby. However, baking cakes every weekend became overly demanding (and indulgent!) for her and her partner. This led Ève to a creative solution: gourmet candles, allowing her to pursue her passion for baking without the sugar intake.

Ève’s products "invite you into the enchanting world of La fée rêve, where desserts are transformed into glittering candles that transport you to a haven of sweetness." Each candle is meticulously crafted in Montreal, emphasizing quality and attention to detail.

Three pillars define Ève’s approach: local, clean, and magical. She supports the local economy by sourcing materials from Quebec companies. Prioritizing the health of her customers and the planet, her candles are made with soy wax, cotton wicks, and phthalate-free fragrances, all blended with essential and aromatic oils for a healthy, non-toxic burn. Ève merges her love for baking with a sprinkle of enchantment, bringing a magical touch to homes.

La fée rêve and Les Produits du Québec

“Small businesses greatly benefit from adhering to certification marks, as they help consumers recognize the origins of our products. The more businesses that participate, the easier and quicker it is for consumers to identify verified products, enhancing the reputation of Quebec-made goods.”

- Ève Agnoly, Founder

La fée rêve has been a member of the Les Produits du Québec program since January 2024, when its candles received the Manufactured in Québec certification mark.
