Founded in 2014 in Montréal, BKIND is a skincare company with a caring spirit. Vegan, natural and plant-based, its products are carefully developed in laboratories and manufactured in Québec, with respect for both the skin and the planet.
Behind BKIND is Marilyne Bouchard, who holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in microbiology. Born with sensitive and reactive skin, she quickly saw the limitations of traditional industry products. This led her to explore the benefits of natural ingredients and then leverage her scientific knowledge to create skincare products that are gentle, effective and responsible.
From its beginnings in an apartment in Verdun to its current 17,000-square-foot warehouse, BKIND has managed to stay true to its values while constantly evolving. The company adopts eco-friendly practices at every stage: sustainable, 100% recyclable packaging, biodegradable shipping materials and bulk options to reduce waste. It has also incorporated Ocean Bound plastic into some of its containers to help protect the oceans.
BKIND’s actions are also a testament to its commitment: 2% of its sales are donated to animal shelters or organizations. With its caring and conscious approach, BKIND is dedicated to its mission, offering quality care products that are good for those who use them, and for their world.
BKIND and Les Produits du Québec
The company has been a member of Les Produits du Québec program since March 2025. Certain of its products carry the Manufactured in Québec certification mark.
