Zazibel was born from the desire to bring softness and comfort to toddlers while contributing to a more responsible world. Founded in 2017 by Isabel Deslauriers, this Verdun-based artisan company handcrafts unique, eco-friendly plush toys designed to become lifelong trusted friends. Each plush, meticulously crafted from recycled and new fabrics, combines safety, soothing properties, and originality to provide emotional comfort to children.

Zazibel's story is inspired by Isabel's personal experience, when she crafted the first plush toy for her daughter, Charlotte, from her worn-out clothes. Over time, this simple cuddly toy evolved into a comforting companion capable of chasing away bad dreams, thanks to a small shiny pearl hidden in a belly pocket. This innovation, designed to capture her daughter’s nightmares, has become the hallmark of Zazibel plush toys: a discreet pocket where treasures, dream catchers, or even a tooth for the tooth fairy can be stored.

In addition to its creations, Zazibel supports local communities, as demonstrated by its recent partnership with Distribution Dany Gauthier to donate 150 plush toys to the pediatric ward of Alma Hospital. This initiative reflects Zazibel’s values, with each plush symbolizing a gesture of tenderness, comfort, and commitment to children's future.
