ABOUT
Founded in 2013 in Laval by Karine Foisy, Veille sur toi creates night lights, stuffed animals and blankets for children. Each product is handmade right here in Québec, bringing softness, security and a touch of magic to families’ lives.
Veille sur toi’s small glass night lights now gently illuminate the nights of more than 100,000 Canadian families. Behind each creation is the same desire: to provide comfort to little ones at bedtime.
Over the years, the company has grown significantly. In 2015, Veille sur toi became a member of the Conseil des métiers d’art du Québec and participated for the first time in the Salon des métiers d’art de Montréal. A few years later, in 2018, the first store opened in Laval. The company then moved to Saint-Martin Blvd. in 2020 to accommodate a larger store and a workshop better equipped for production.
Veille sur toi in the spotlight
Over the years, Veille sur toi has been honoured on several occasions. In 2015, the company won the Etsy: Le meilleur du Québec competition, beating out more than 400 creators. In 2018, Karine Foisy received a $24,000 grant and a year of mentoring through Desjardins’ Adopte Inc. entrepreneurship program. The following year, in 2019, Veille sur toi was recognized with a FedEx Business Award, along with a $5,000 grant.
Veille sur toi and Les Produits du Québec
Veille sur toi’s products have earned the Manufactured in Québec certification mark as part of a partnership between the Conseil des métiers d’art du Québec and Les Produits du Québec, launched in December 2024.
