Eric Bourdon grew up in the world of entrepreneurship, and he always knew that one day, he would also have his own business. After seeing his family in business and helping many entrepreneurs during his career, he finally made the leap in 2020. Together with his partner Eric Vaillancourt, he bought Solarium Optimum in a business transfer process. Eric finally realized his dream: "If you ask me, entrepreneurship is innate. You either have it or you don't. It's a sense of self-fulfillment."
Solarium Optimum is a local company that manufactures a host of top-quality products for the home and garden: permanent awnings and carports, three-season solariums, verandas and spa shelters. Each product is designed and manufactured to offer a pleasant and quality space to relax and share moments with loved ones or between friends. The company's greatest wish? Become the market leader in the world of solariums.
Solarium Optimum in the spotlight
In 2022, Solarium Optimum won company of the year in the INDUSTRY category at the Dunamis gala of the Laval Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Solarium Optimum and Les Produits du Québec
The company has been a member of the Les Produits du Québec program since July 2022. Several of their products have obtained the certification mark Product of Quebec, such as their solariums, awnings, walls and carports. Both Erics are quite proud of obtaining this certification mark: "It is thanks to our manufacturing process and the purchase of our raw materials that we have obtained the Product of Quebec certification mark. For us, this is one more string on our bow."
