ABOUT
NATUKU draws its inspiration from the natural riches of the North Shore. The core ingredient of its skincare products is a 214-million-year-old marine clay, sourced from the Manicouagan Peninsula. The company’s name, an Innu word meaning “the root that heals,” is a nod to the ancestral origins of its products.
Its mission? To offer natural, effective and environmentally friendly skincare products. All products are formulated with 100% natural clay, rich in minerals (potassium, magnesium, calcium, sodium) and trace elements such as zinc and iron. This exceptional mud, with its detoxifying, toning and revitalizing properties, is the star ingredient in a range of face, body and hair care products, suitable for all skin types.
Proudly eco-responsible, NATUKU is committed to preserving the surrounding ecosystem. Clay is extracted only in winter, using a soil-friendly method: The peat bog is replaced after each extraction to limit the environmental impact. The machinery used runs on vegetable-based lubricants rather than chemicals.
Backed by more than $2.5 million in scientific research, NATUKU collaborates with laboratories and universities to guarantee the quality and effectiveness of its products. By combining science, nature and tradition, the company offers a unique approach to beauty that’s in harmony with the natural world.
