Founded in 2015 by Renaud Trudel Boisclair, Nahak specializes in creating equipment for active dogs, focusing on products that evolve with the needs of both dogs and their owners, especially in harnessed canine sports. Drawing from extensive experience and passion for the canine world, Nahak designs each product with durability in mind, ensuring it can withstand the rigorous demands of these activities.
Nahak stands out for its strong commitment to local manufacturing. Over half of the company's raw materials are sourced from Canada and the United States. Nahak continuously seeks new suppliers to shorten its supply chain and reduce its ecological footprint. Every item is designed, tested, and produced in the Laurier-Station workshop, ensuring top-quality products and complete control over production.
In addition to product quality, sustainability is a core value at Nahak. The company avoids plastic in its packaging, uses 100% recycled paper for all printed materials, and strives to minimize waste by purchasing used machinery and optimizing raw material usage.

Nahak and Les Produits du Québec
"We've always taken great pride in offering locally-made products. It was only natural for us to join the Les Produits du Québec certification mark program to showcase Quebec craftsmanship," says Renaud Trudel Boisclair, Founding President.
Nahak has been a proud Les Produits du Québec program member since February 2024, with several products earning the Manufactured in Québec certification mark. Certified items include harnesses, belts, bungees, dog boots, collars, and leashes.
