ABOUT

Le Jardin de Julie, an artisanal enterprise based in Rimouski, embodies both a passion for biodiversity and a profound respect for the environment. Founded by Julie Ross—a pilot, soap-maker, and seed-saver—Le Jardin de Julie is dedicated to preserving ancestral seeds as well as creating vegan soaps and natural body products. Since 2009, Julie has been committed to protecting our seed heritage, convinced that this is essential to ensuring our food security and maintaining biological diversity. Every seed they select and save contributes to enriching our gardens and preserving our ecosystems.

This same philosophy of sustainability and respect also guides the soap factory launched in 2014, where natural ingredients are carefully chosen for their quality and low environmental impact. Le Jardin de Julie products are designed with great attention to quality and respect for the environment. Their vegan soaps, bath bombs, and bath powders are handmade and inspired by the local flora and natural landscapes of the Bas-Saint-Laurent region. No compromises here: each creation rigorously excludes palm oil, whether organic or fair trade, to protect biodiversity and forests, the true lungs of the Earth.

Product colours come exclusively from natural and ethical sources, without synthetic dyes, oxides, or micas. This conscious choice aims to reject extraction methods that exploit children, women, and men in deplorable conditions. Thanks to this ethical vigilance, the company is able to offer products that respect the planet and its inhabitants.

Every soap from Le Jardin de Julie is a true expression of love for nature. The company favours a sustainable approach from start to finish, from the selection of ingredients to final consumption. For Julie, each product is a concrete gesture in favour of the environment and a more ethical, responsible future.
