ABOUT
Founded in 2022 in Les Cèdres, Joséphine Co. produces handmade candles. Jessika Tessier, its founder, embarked on the adventure after a 20-year career in the beauty industry. Drawing on her experience, she set out to create products, using healthy ingredients, centred on well-being and eco-friendly values.
Each candle is hand-poured using a vegan and biodegradable blend of coconut and soy wax. This choice of raw material allows for slow, clean burning, with no toxic fumes. The fragrances are produced with fine and essential oils that are phthalate- and paraben-free, for a refined and safe olfactory experience.
The wicks, made from plant-based cotton or FSC-certified crackling wood, are also chosen for their quality and low environmental impact. Even the container is designed to last, as it can easily be reused once the candle has burned down.
Joséphine Co. offers a great variety of products as well as limited editions inspired by the seasons. Each product reflects local expertise and a genuine commitment to quality and the environment. At the heart of it all is an invitation to slow down, take care of yourself and celebrate life’s small daily rituals.

The company has been a member of Les Produits du Québec program since February 2025. Certain of its products carry the Manufactured in Québec and Designed in Québec certification marks.
