Christine Mercier is a Québec designer who has been celebrating local creativity for over 35 years. Long before sustainable fashion went mainstream, she was already advocating for a conscious approach to design and consumption. Inspired by the principles of slow fashion, her philosophy is based on the idea of buying less, but better, by prizing quality, durability and skilled work.
Located in Québec City’s Trait-Carré district, CM atelier-boutique offers visitors a unique experience, halfway between a gallery and an artisan’s atelier. In a refined and inviting setting, the boutique brings together handmade creations from Québec and provides a showcase for local professional artists and artisans.
