ABOUT
Bonnetier holds a unique place in the Québec fashion landscape thanks to its deep commitment to sustainable textile design and responsible printing. Since 2013, the company has been designing and manufacturing outdoor clothing designed to withstand extreme climates, a reality it knows better than anyone. Its collection, inspired by local culture, focuses on durability, comfort and performance to accompany Quebecers on all their adventures, big and small.
Proudly based in Boucherville, Bonnetier makes all its products right here. This local production is at the heart of its mission: to reduce its carbon footprint, support the Québec economy and ensure ethical and safe working conditions. In the workshop, each garment is crafted by artisans and sewists who work on each piece with a meticulous attention and expertise, apparent at first glance. The prints, made with water-based inks, reflect this same commitment to responsible design.
Bonnetier uses biodegradable and eco-friendly materials, guided by the belief that protecting nature is a shared responsibility. Since its inception, the company has been committed to manufacturing sustainable products that respect people, the environment and animal welfare. Even its packaging, which is plastic-free, is designed to be reused to reduce waste.
Bonnetier and Les Produits du Québec
Bonnetier’s products have earned the Manufactured in Québec certification mark as part of a partnership between the Conseil des métiers d'art du Québec and Les Produits du Québec, launched in December 2024.
“Thanks to this certification mark, people know for certain where our products are made. Buying local for me is like buying a piece of farmland. It’s a taste you develop the more you know local products.”
– Isabelle Marcotte, Founder and CEO
