ABOUT
Atelier Ora is a company founded in 2022 by Catherine Pelletier Lauzon, an optician specializing in the creation of handcrafted eyewear and sunglasses. With a clear objective to combine style, quality and environmental responsibility, the brand stands apart with its ethical and ecological choices. By keeping production local, Atelier Ora has reduced its carbon footprint considerably, generating 12 times less greenhouse gases than if it produced it products in China.
Atelier Ora frames feature timeless lines, luminous colours and a focus on durability. Designed in a Mile End workshop in Montréal, they are the product of a craft approach focused on comfort and aesthetics. Each easy-wearing model features a one-of-a-kind design.
The company champions deeply human and ecological values. Its universe brings together art, fashion and nature. In March 2024, artist and photographer Pascal Ferraris joined the adventure as co-owner, bringing his creative flair to the brand’s identity. Atelier Ora eyewear is available in several eyewear stores in Québec and Canada, with exclusive collaborations such as the MILE-END series created in partnership with Doyle Eyewear.

Atelier Ora and Les Produits du Québec
“Les Produits du Québec certification marks help consumers know what is actually produced, manufactured or designed here, which is essential if they’re going to make an informed choice.
Since locally made eyewear is exceptionally rare – in Canada, there are about five brands that make their frames here – the Manufactured in Québec certification mark means people can be certain of the provenance of their purchases.”
– Catherine Pelletier Lauzon, Founder
The company has been a member of Les Produits du Québec program since July 2024. Certain of its products carry the Manufactured in Québec certification mark.
