Located in the heart of the Eastern Townships, Garneau Slippers has been producing exceptionally crafted products for over 40 years. In the workshop, each pair is entirely handmade, using meticulous techniques passed down from generation to generation. The result: slippers and accessories that combine authenticity, comfort and durability, and bear the signature of a truly local craft.
Working with premium natural materials, the team shapes leather, suede and sheepskin with great care and detail. The skins are distinguished by their fine density and softness. Each product offers a perfect balance of warmth, lightness and timeless elegance, bringing a little daily comfort underfoot.
First and foremost, Garneau Slippers is a story of family and passion passed down from father to daughter. Founded by François Garneau, a member of the Conseil des métiers d'art du Québec, the company is now run by his daughter Noémi, who carries on the legacy while ensuring the company remains relevant for today’s markets. Inspired by the beauty of craftsmanship and the nobility of materials, she continues to uphold a tradition of excellence, updated with a modern touch.
Garneau Slippers and Les Produits du Québec
Garneau Slippers’ products have earned the Manufactured in Québec certification mark as part of a partnership between the Conseil des métiers d’art du Québec and Les Produits du Québec, launched in December 2024.
