Based in Thetford Mines, Aquavélo specializes in the design and manufacturing of innovative aquatic bikes for use on Québec waterways. Designed with the environment in mind, its water bikes provide the entire family with a fun, safe and accessible experience, giving them a whole new way to stay active in nature.

Aquavélo markets two models: the Viking and the Explorateur. Able to navigate lakes easily and even ride over waves, they combine comfort and stability. The bikes have impressed Quebecers riders and visitors from other countries such as the Dominican Republic

In addition to manufacturing bicycles, Aquavélo is also positioning itself in the tourism and outdoor activities sector and is keen to create a bike rental agreement with aquatic sites. The company wants to offer an original way to play outdoors in the summer, with environmentally friendly, human-powered motion.

The company has been a member of Les Produits du Québec program since July 2024. Certain of its products carry the Manufactured in Québec certification mark.
